WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh's Human Capital and Business Advisory Services (HCBAS) practice is seeking a highly organized, experienced, intelligent, and motivated Research Associate to join our Organizational Research and Consulting (ORC) Division. This job is best suited for an individual with an industrial-organizational psychology, social psychology, organizational behavior, business or related background to contribute to research and consulting projects across a variety of government contracts. You will contribute to the execution, interpretation, and reporting of research and consulting studies employing a variety of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The ideal candidate continuously strives to learn and develop and enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

*Execute qualitative research (e.g., develop participant/moderator materials, develop interview materials, and conduct data analysis).

*Execute quantitative research (e.g., develop surveys and analysis plans, and manage data analysis).

*Execute literature reviews (e.g., conduct literature searches, generate summaries, synthesize findings).

*Assist in developing reports, briefings, and other deliverables.

*Assist in preparing research reports, briefs, presentation decks, and other external communications.

*Interact effectively with project team on a day-to-day basis and work under tight deadlines to fulfill client requests.

*Communicate effectively with clients with varying ranges of research knowledge and experience.

*Balance roles and responsibilities across multiple concurrent studies and/or tasks including roles with task management oversight.

Qualifications:

*Advanced degree (e.g., MA, MS, PhD) in social/behavioral science, business and administration, or other related technical or liberal arts field.

*At least 2 years of research and/or consulting experience.

*Training in and understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

*Interest in applied research, with an ability to think creatively to solve tangible organizational behavior problems through research.

*Exceptional interpersonal skills.

*Strong verbal and written communications skills.

*Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

*Strong data analysis skills (descriptive and inferential analyses).

*Ability to work independently and effectively on a team while managing multiple assignments simultaneously.

*Ability to work with ambiguity with an aptitude for problem solving and creativity.

*Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver effective recommendations.

*Experience presenting statistical analysis results to groups with non-data backgrounds.

* Applicants will be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.

* US Citizenship is required for this position due to our federal contract requirement.

Preferred qualifications:

*Experience in applied research and/or consulting as part of a government contract.

*Experience working with government agencies such as DoD, DoS, HHS, USDA or similar preferred.

*Experience in business development (e.g., contributing to proposal writing).

*Demonstrated leadership and team building capabilities.

*Strong knowledge of syntax/code in statistical software packages.

Salary: $66,000-$90,000
