EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Classified Programs in our Hughes Network Systems division to help us develop the next generation of satellite communications systems. This position will be located in our Gaithersburg, Maryland office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of Program Management
• Prepare proposals in response to RFPs, by evaluating program requirements, performing initial financial analyses, and describing technical feasibility to meet the requirements of the RFP
• Manage Customer relationships and program budgets
• Act as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Develop new business opportunities
• Oversee technical program execution
• Grow technical staff in size and capabilities
• Grow classified program portfolio

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, i.e. engineering, telecommunications, computer science, information systems, math, statistics
• 15+ years of experience
• Must hold a U.S. government security clearance at the TS/SCI level.
• 8+ years of experience in Project or Program Manager
• 3+ years of experience in RFPs with technical specifications and financial analysis, including strong understanding of cyber techniques, offensive and defensive
• 15% Travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DoD space
• Experience with classified customer base

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
