Who We Are Looking For

Crisis24 is building a new team of intelligence analysts to be located at our Annapolis headquarters to join the Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS) division. Under the Crisis24 Program Manager's general supervision, these intelligence analysts will perform global threat monitoring, intelligence analysis and production, investigative research, and disaster response support for our client, a industry-leading company in the professional services sector. This team will operate 24/7/365 and therefore requires shiftwork, to include nights, weekends, and occasional holiday coverage.

What You Will Work On

  • Actively monitor open-source media, third-party subscription services, and other sources in real time for global and regional events that could affect client business operations and personnel
  • Assess threats to client operations, including security, health, environment, reputational, and industry-specific events
  • Provide timely, comprehensive, and value-added intelligence products tailored to decision makers' needs
  • Prepare threat assessments and situation reports to various business lines and stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Monitor social media for threats to client personnel and business interests and conduct open-source investigations for online exposure assessments and threat actors
  • Support regional physical security liaisons as needed
  • Independently assess and respond to security incidents, exercising sound judgment and initiative in decision-making
  • Understand the client's footprint and interests to anticipate client needs
  • Follow escalation procedures to communicate threats and company exposure to client POCs; conduct client employee outreach
  • Track and report metrics around production and deliverables
  • Apply critical thinking skills to evaluate complex intelligence data and identify patterns, trends, and potential risks.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in rapidly changing environments, effectively adjusting strategies and priorities to meet evolving needs.
  • Exercise meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of intelligence analysis, ensuring accuracy and precision in reporting and decision-making.
  • Engage in cross-project analysis, including consistent sharing of information among fellow analysts on the team and across EIS
  • Be consistently engaged on a daily basis with teammates, peers, and team leadership
  • Shift work is required to meet the client's 24/7/365 mission
What You Will Bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, incident response, security operations or a related field required
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
  • Excellent research skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Familiarity with structured analytic techniques and data analysis a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint (PowerBI a plus)
  • Knowledge of Google Earth and Maps (ArcGIS or QGIS a plus)
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Fast learner and ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work with little supervision
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to adhere to timelines and deadlines with effective time management skills
  • Establishing and maintaining positive professional rapport with other analysts, team leadership, as well as with client contacts
  • Foreign language and global travel experience is a plus
