THE HIGH LEVEL

The Project Administrator will be supporting the Program Manager in providing the planning, direction, and coordination of logistical activities of a designated global project. The Project Administrator will ensure that the Program Manager has detailed reports pertaining to the goals and objectives of the program as defined within the executed Statement of Work (SOW) and/or Customer Contract.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Team Coordination:

  • Lead cross-functional teams consisting of engineers, technicians, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing.

Project Execution and Monitoring:

  • Drive project execution according to established plans, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address any deviations from the plan.
  • Regularly communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and management.

Risk Management:

  • Continuously monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct regular quality checks and reviews to validate that project deliverables meet specifications.
  • Understand and apply the Iron Bow Project Management Methodology processes and procedures.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical documentation.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on project progress, achievements, and challenges to stakeholders and management.
  • Some travel will be expected as well as an expectation of afterhours work, as needed, for implementation deployment tasks, cutover tasks, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Project Planning and Initiation:

  • Assist in developing comprehensive project plan, outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies.
  • Assist in identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 2 - 5 years working IT implementations for commercial and Government customers in a technical setting is desired.
  • Adhering to regulations, performance obligations within contractual agreements, and meeting deadlines are just another day on the job for you.
  • People naturally gravitate to you and want to work for you.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • You have the ability to work independently and in a matrixed team environment
  • Your attention to detail is impeccable
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • CAPM certification desired
  • ITIL certs preferred
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, existing DoD Secret clearance highly preferred

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is remote but may require 10% travel.
