Building/Office Location	UC - University Center
Work Schedule	Students will be permitted work in-person approximately 8 hours per week. Students must have availability during the following time frame: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:30pm.
Job Description	University Connect and Persist (UCAP) seeks a motivated, positive, and responsible student employee to support student retention efforts and persistence to graduation. This position would start in the Fall 2024 semester.
Primary Responsibilities	Greeting and checking in guests and students who visit the office Answering front-line phone calls and administrative support for staff members Assisting with logging textbooks for the Textbook Lending Library Promoting UCAP through tabling events for current and prospective students as needed Providing operational support at FUEL NKU and the Care Closet @ NKU as needed Other duties as assigned
Qualifications	Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Must be eligible for Federal Work Study You may find out if you are eligible by contacting Student Financial Assistance Minimum enrollment in six credit hours per semester (Fall and Spring) Must have availability to work between Monday-Friday 8:15am-4:30pm Adhere to all policies found within the NKU Housing Contract and Community Standards & Student Rights (the Code) Strong communication skills required If you need assistance with preparing your resume and cover letter for this application, please visit in University Center 225.
