Job Description
Description The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible to manage, distribute, safeguard, monitor and deliver supplies and equipment needed in various health suites. Maintain quality control and inventory control to be sure supplies are available for distribution. Coordinate and support to assure supplies and equipment are available and accessible when and where needed.
Qualifications Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
2 years Related experience managing medical supplies and equipment and maintaining an inventory system. (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
Knowledge of supply and equipment inventory control processes, and systems. Safe driving record and the ability to generate inventory control
reports.

Functional Accountabilities
Inventory
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment (as appropriate) to respond to school nurse requests in a timely manner and to assure that current supplies are available and distributed.
  • Maintain quality control.
  • Generate reports as requested to identify distribution of supplies and equipment.
Cost Management
  • Maintain supplies and equipment consistent with budgetary guidelines
  • Maintain cost analysis records descriptive of associated costs for items distributed to each school.
  • Participate in selection of cost-effective purchases.
Safety and Security
  • Maintain safe driving practices.
  • Safeguard supplies and equipment to respective destination.
Internal and External Relations
  • Work collaboratively with school nurses.
  • Develop and enhance effective relationships with CNMC warehouse personnel where supplies and equipment is stored.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with DCPS staff to assure access into D. C. Public and Public Charter Schools.
  • Demonstrate the ability to respond in a timely, appropriate manner to requests for supplies and equipment.
