Responsibilities

The marketing and communications support resource is responsible for developing and coordinating a communications plan, as well as the day-to-day implementation of messaging and marketing. The individual will be able to work collaboratively, with minimal supervision, to support the following requirements:

    Provide direct communications to the front office. Shall be deadline-driven and detail oriented, ensuring all products meet the highest ethical standards and are delivered on time.
  • Strategize and execute a broad range of communication and marketing activities to improve workforce and partner engagement and education. Implement a standard cadence for communications and marketing deliverables.
  • Author, coordinate, edit and publish a variety of communications products including workforce messaging, internal and external executive briefings, blogs, web content, FAQs and news articles.
  • Ensure uniformity of all external messaging from office, including but not limited to briefings and info-graphics
  • Coordinate and execute outreach efforts including all hands meetings, town halls, video messaging and other events, as needed.
  • Collaborate with chief of staff to continually update on-line content to maintain alignment with the office messaging.
  • Execute strategic and tactical website designs, updates, and published products aimed at improving communications throughout the workforce.
  • Develop posters, info-graphics and other design deliverables to support written messaging.
  • Assist other office elements in developing and coordinating consistent and clear communications.
Qualifications

Required:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance
  • BA/BS and 8+ years of experience; Masters and 6+ years of experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively handle multiple competing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to develop creative and resourceful recommendations/solutions to communicate complex issues and problems
  • Proactive self-starter able to support multiple efforts simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Innovate in identifying modes of communication and means of creating visually engaging, impactful communications content
  • Prior customer experience
  • Experience working across organizational boundaries to achieve mission goals
  • Graphic design experience and familiarity with website design, specifically Wordpress

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
