Language Access is a foundation of Fairfax County's commitment to advancing racial and social equity. Under the supervision of the Language Access Program Manager, this position supports the program by conducting fiscal analysis and support, managing data, records, communication, and information, as well as provides administrative support. Completes billing reconciliation, manages vendor quotes and submissions, and contributes to the agency budget process by providing accurate reporting. Works within four data management systems to contributes to performance measures and outcome reporting.
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements regarding records management and retention. Utilizes various communication mediums to convey program updates and pertinent information to internal and external partners, to include a working knowledge of SharePoint. Coordinates translation requests and serves as back up for MA II and fills in as interpreter for last minutes requests. Performs departmental administrative functions to support the overall operations of the program; performs other duties as required.
Note: This position provides general administrative support in the assigned functional areas of public or business administration, and accounting.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in the field related to the assigned functional area.
BRIDGE CLASS EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Four years of increasingly complex technical experience in the assigned functional area, comparable to experience at the Admin Assistant IV, or higher, level. This class can serve as a bridge class enabling individuals who do not meet the educational or professional experience standards listed above to qualify for this class by possessing four years of increasingly complex technical experience in the assigned functional area, comparable to experience at the Admin Assistant IV, or higher, level. The purpose of this bridge class is to promote upward mobility within the Fairfax County workforce. However, persons qualifying for this class on the basis of their technical experience may not substitute this technical experience for education, or for professional experience, in order to qualify for other employment opportunities.
