Job Description

We are searching for a Program Manager l for a 11-month contract assignment. The person will be responsible for assisting with data and indirect programs in addition to assessment programs; energy efficiency programs moving into demand management and renewables. The ideal candidate will have more of a data focused skill set. The person will be working on in year delivery to achieve the regulatory goals in Colorado and Minnesota. The person will be working on energy efficiency programs in both of those states, focusing primarily, as stated, on data driven programs. Less than 5% travel. Business travel reimbursed.

Location is Minneapolis, MN

This is a hybrid position: in the office 2 or 3 times a week.

Responsibilities

  • Working on a number of programs across portfolio -
  • The person will be working on a large portfolio of 10-12 different programs in which the person will be involved with team meetings, collaborating with engineers, project groups, partner organizations, etc.
  • There are different delivery tasks, in product team meetings that could be collaborating with the engineers or the account management group or the third-party study vendors.
  • A typical day is not necessarily typical, but it will consist of collaboration efforts with a many of the other partner organizations.
  • This role will encompass a lot of project management work and pipeline management within the Salesforce systems.

Requirements

Education: At least min of bachelor's degree, however, commensurate with experience. Marketing/communications and business administration

  • Must have 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar type role to upwards of 5 years; performing program management or even having some leadership experience would be great.
  • Must have a background in/experience with budget ownership or has experience with having sales targets and reaching them, company incentives that they've hit, etc.
  • Relevant education with marketing; promotion of marketing programs.
  • Experience with marketing in the sense that this team has a very active level of promotion of programs listed above and works very closely with marketing and communications departments.
  • Previous experience in regulated utility is a plus.
  • Must have experience with process/efficiency improvement.
  • Although not required, SalesForce experience would be a great asset!
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
