Asbestos Project Manager –
Environmental Restoration LLC is a provider of cost-effective hazardous wastes material management and removal services. Our services include Emergency Response, Site Remediation, Environmental Construction, and Specialty Technical Services. Since 1997, we have been a remediation contractor for federal, state, local agencies, and private sector clients, providing services nationwide from our St. Louis corporate headquarters and 24 regional offices located across the United States.
 
Working as an Asbestos Project Manager comes with a lot of responsibility and high expectations for business development and professional growth, as a result we are looking to hire someone who possess strong knowledge of the CO regulatory environment, business opportunities, staff acquisition, and who has exceptional leadership qualities and a commitment to safe wok practices. Managers often must work in extreme conditions, and need to possess exceptional time management skills, be able to multi-task, be able to estimate job needs, and develop proposals.  Some travel will be required.


The ideal candidate will be a self-starter ready to accept the challenge of developing an active abatement program in Colorado with a goal of expanding into NE, KS, UT, WY, ND, SD and MT.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Current Colorado Asbestos Supervisor Licenses
  • Two years of experience as an Asbestos Supervisor
  • The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of asbestos abatement projects. He/she must know the various local, county, and state asbestos regulations
     Ideal candidates will have at least:
  1. Four (4) years of direct on-scene response experience in the cleanup of substances and pollutants at a site, to include the development of site safety plans, heavy equipment operation and field construction, or other discipline directly related in the performance of managing a project.
  2. Two (2) years of the required experience must be in a capacity of project manager, managing and supervising personnel for Abatement/Remediation or other actions involving harmful substances and pollutants at a site.
  3. Ability to prepare written bids and proposals for incoming requests.
  4. Serves as contractor point-of-contact with subcontractors.  Ability to independently negotiate and resolve subcontractor disputes.
  5. Knowledge of OSHA health and safety regulations regarding hazardous waste site and general construction site operations.  Ability to prepare and modify site specific health and safety plans in accordance with OSHA regulations, policies, and procedures.  Ability to serve as site safety officer.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Some travel will be required.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and physical exam.
Legally eligible to work in the United States (Verified through E-Verify)
Must have a working knowledge of Word and Excel
Able to wear a respirator
 
Environmental experience, asbestos abatement experience and certifications (i.e. Supervisor, OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER).
