Experienced Data Science Analyst SME
IAT LEVEL 2 CERT OR 3 is required.
Must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.
Tableau and Python SME leve experience is required
Ability to conduct data science analysis.
Knowledge of data processing practices and techniques to support data analysis activities.
Ability to analyze, plan, develop and execute work in data analysis and/or processing.
Knowledge of computer programming and development tools.
Knowledge of computer science, mathematical, and statistical theories, techniques, and methods.
Agile required
Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, IT, or related discipline
with 5 years of related experience

DUTIES:
The Data Analytics SME supports the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Cybersecurity Program initiatives to help drive improved data-driven decision making within the Office of Critical Infrastructure and IT Security (OCIITS).
Studies data, builds analysis, synthesizes insights, creates presentations, and delivers practical and timely solutions to the Bureau's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Ensures the timely fusion of external data sources into the data holding and monitors the content for quality and compliance with the data governance framework.
Operates and manages application to collect, link, store, and report on planning data created by OCIITS stakeholders at various levels.
Collaborates with stakeholders to identify problems, appropriate data, analytical approaches, and execution steps to produce solutions, practical analyses, and insights. Analyses support the OCIITS programs and other priorities, focusing on challenges in Bureau-wide budgeting, planning, organizational performance management, risk management, and financial management.
Analyzes data, applies, and explains statistical and mathematical principles.
Responsive to a variety of stakeholders and team members with varying skill sets. Coordinates with colleagues on any on-demand analysis and internal audit.
Translates the results of analysis into clear, visual communications to help the CISO and other stakeholders make informed data-driven decisions.
Translates complex concepts, findings, and limitations into concise, plain language.
Presents the results of quantitative analysis to non-technical audiences.
Research and designs presentations of analytical outputs tailored to specific audiences, including the use of interactive and narrative storytelling where appropriate.
Works with stakeholders to create meaningful presentations and interpretations of analytical outputs
