Job Summary: The Senior Sample Accountability Analyst will play a pivotal role within the Commercial Operations team, providing essential support to the field sales organization. The ideal employee requires a deep understanding of PDMA Sample guidelines and a strong commitment to organizational excellence, attention to detail and customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage sample and promotional material transactions in Veeva and third-party vendor software programs.
  • Monitor the vendor web-based ordering system, ensuring timely order approvals and updates related to inventory, territories, and user information.
  • Support Manager, Sample Operations, by addressing sales force inquiries related to Veeva (CRM), DCM and Samples/PDMA compliance.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires and creating new accounts in Veeva.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Sample Operations on annual policy updates, trainings, reporting, and audits.
  • Work with their management to monitor warehouse inventory quantities and facilitate distributions to the Field.
  • Ensure compliance with all Sample Accountability Policies and Procedures, following the Corporate Sampling Policy, Business Rules and all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
  • Maintain Samples Accountability department filing system and provide necessary documentation for internal and external use as directed.
  • Undertake special project work and related duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience; knowledge of PDMA guidelines; Pharma/biotech experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in an ever changing fast paced environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess basic skills in Excel and MS Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively within the organization and with third party vendors.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com / Veeva preferred.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:

  • Sedentary work, involving sitting most of the time, with occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force or carrying objects.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
