Responsibilities could include:

• Position will primarily be stationed on one line but must be flexible to move elsewhere as needed.
• Packs bags of chips into boxes.
• Repacks smaller bags of product into larger bags or boxes.
• Inspects packaged items and alerts machine operator or shift supervisor of any changes.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
• Sets up mats and cartons for packers before production begins each day.
• Prepares packing area when packaging different products.
• Helps clean floor and equipment in packing room weekly in addition to other Sanitation duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to fluently communicate in and read English or Spanish.
• Some knowledge of manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to work in 4-6 hour increments.
• Reliable transportation to our Hanover, PA campus.
• Must be willing and able to stand 100% of the work shift.
• Regular lifting (25 lbs).
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and pivot regularly.
