We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Analyst to support SSA in creating and delivering artifacts to support enterprise product life cycle activities. As a Product Analyst, you will play a critical role in facilitating customer and product discovery, capturing meeting notes, documentation, and supporting product teams as needed. Your expertise in gathering and analyzing data, documenting product capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to contribute to the successful development and launch of innovative products is extremely valuable to SSA.

• Discovery Session Preparation: Assist in preparing for discovery sessions by gathering relevant information, scheduling meetings, and ensuring all necessary stakeholders are involved.
• Facilitating Discovery Sessions: Actively participate in discovery sessions by documenting requirements and capturing insights from stakeholders.
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Conduct research, analyze data, and gather requirements from various sources, including user surveys, market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis. Work closely with the Product Manager to document detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, engineering, and product tam, to gather input, validate requirements, and ensure alignment throughout the product development process. Maintain regular communication to address questions, provide clarifications, and resolve any conflicts that may arise.
• Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, including process flows, business rules, data models, user interface mockups, and other relevant artifacts. Ensure all documentation is organized, up to date, and easily accessible for reference.
• Data Analysis: Collect, validate, and analyze data related to customer behavior, market trends, and product performance. Use data analysis techniques to derive insights that can inform decision-making and drive product improvements.
• Product Coordination: Assist in coordinating and prioritizing tasks, ensuring that milestones are achieved within the specified timeframes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on activities status, soliciting feedback, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• All other duties as assigned or directed.

FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree with 4 to 8 Years of relevant work experience OR Master's Degree with 2 to 6 years of relevant work experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Experience supporting Product Discovery and road-mapping workshops in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in the process of capturing and documenting the discussions, decisions, and actions that occur during meeting in real-time.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences and facilitate productive discussions.
• Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in implementing KPIs and OKR framework.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement. (DO NOT REMOVE)

*** Selected candidate must reside within two (2) hours of SSA Headquarters in Woodlawn, MD

*** Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site at least 2 days a week.
