Azure Cloud Architect - Remote Information Technology

Job Description
Azure Cloud Architect needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work remote.
Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to assist and advise with the architectural and engineering of Azure infrastructure services. The incumbent will work closely with OS, Middleware, Database, and Network teams to troubleshoot issues, develop design documents and technical roadmaps, and provide technical direction for new project development.
The selected individual will collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable, and secure Azure infrastructure solutions. He or she will work with client teams and advise on Azure cloud implementation best practices and develop findings and deliver recommendation and plans.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of solution architecture experience
- 4+ years' experience leading cloud integration architecture and application modernization
- Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect
- Strong knowledge of enterprise computing and operating systems (OS) and Microsoft Azure cloud computing platforms
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to VMs, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, and Azure Security.
- Cloud-based solutions experience leveraging cloud-computing infrastructure and platforms architecting, engineering, developing and deploying systems and applications into a cloud environment
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer)
- Must be able to pass the California Department of Justice and FBI background check process
