Energy Metering Engineer

The Opportunity:

What if you could use your engineering background to help our clients take the first steps toward large-scale decarbonization? Our team supports the federal healthcare space by providing a technical evaluation of their critical energy systems for enhanced mission resiliency. The team focuses on leveraging expertise in electrical, mechanical, water, and gas infrastructure to provide reliable and insightful energy metering capabilities for our clients.

As an energy engineer, you understand how critical loads are supported by the surrounding electrical, gas, and water infrastructure by interacting with the models and drawings for these systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to identifying metering solutions for our clients to enhance the way they monitor energy to support their mission. We are looking for an engineer who can combine their expertise in building energy systems and hands-on experience interfacing with utility metering hardware, including data integrity and network protocols. You will play a pivotal role in preparing pre-visit technical background information, coordinating site-visit logistics, and post-visit reporting and interaction with the client. You will directly impact the energy sector by pairing advanced metering technology with a diverse portfolio of facility energy systems across the United States. At its heart, these capabilities are setting up our client to reach their goals around the reduction of reliance on fossil fuels. This is a chance to use your engineering and troubleshooting skills while gaining field experience with energy consulting in healthcare. Join us and take on exciting challenges as we transform the way large-scale energy systems are quantified and improved by metering technology.
