Summary:

The Advanced Analytics Lead shall provide expert leadership and guidance in performance for DHS DSSS contract.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

    Responsible for leading the overall development of data models and algorithms to support machine learning and other data science research efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to solve complex business problems and improve operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement advanced analytics models and algorithms, utilizing techniques such as machine learning, predictive modeling, and optimization.
  • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to acquire, clean, and prepare data for analysis.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support advanced analytics workflows.
  • Interpret and communicate analysis results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, providing actionable recommendations for decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in advanced analytics and data science and incorporate new techniques and methodologies as appropriate.
Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in machine learning techniques and algorithms, with experience applying them to real-world problems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related degree.
  • At least 5 years' experience leading data modeling, data science, algorithm
  • development, and automation efforts.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post- Graduate Degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Machine Learning preferred.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $160,000 per year.
