Description

TheMRI Technologist - PI MRIreflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Under the general supervision of the Manager, operates MRI equipment to obtain optimum images for MRI procedures. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner that is appropriate for the individual and consistent with Palos Imaging, LLC's guiding principles.

This position is full time, 72 hours per pay period, 8-hour day shift, Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Fridays, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with rotating Saturdays, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This position will assist with staffing needs at both sites: Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Orland Park Palos Imaging.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or accredited MRI program.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification or certification eligible.
  • CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Licensed with Illinois Emergency Management Department of Nuclear Safety Administration
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography (ARRT)(R)
