This position is responsible for....

The Senior Pricing Analyst is the first line of pricing and margin support and analysis for Breg's Commercial Team. S/he performs analysis activities concerned with the preparation for customer pricing agreements, GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) agreements, and RFP (Request for Proposals) which will including Government contracts. In addition to this front-end work, the Senior Pricing Analyst is accountable to report pricing and margin results and to perform needed ad hoc analysis. S/he works internally, primarily with the National Accounts Team, as well as with Customer Care, Billing, Sales, and Legal departments and externally with group purchasing administrators, government personnel, consultants, domestic and international distributors, and other customers.

Your day will be very busy... you will:

  • Builds relationships and act as a business partner to commercial teams including Distributor Partners, Field Sales, National Accounts, Impact Solutions, and International.

  • Develops, improves, and automates key processes to support integrity of commercial data.

  • Performs high impact pricing and business analytics, comprehensive contract management and decision-making support to maximize revenue growth and profitability.

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Pricing and Margin Analytics across the United States and potentially International.

  • Conducts pricing benchmarking analyses to assess competitiveness in the market and identify opportunities for pricing optimization and strategic alignment.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert on Pricing and Margin dashboards and reporting.

  • Acts as the subject matter expert on Oracle pricing management.

  • Interprets and implements pricing guidance and provide specific recommendations to high-level business partners.

  • Manages and develops market segmentation to provide accurate reporting on the company's achievement of gross margin targets.

  • Partners with National Accounts team to recommend pricing and tier level strategies.

  • Works cross-functionally with operations, legal, finance, marketing, solution selling, as well as other teams as necessary to ensure effective workflow execution.

  • Develops, interprets, and disseminates contract specific performance reporting and trend analysis to sales executives in a timely manner, leveraging analytical tools and producing customized contract reporting as required.

  • Coordinates with Contract Team to administer contracts. Seeks process improvements in the way Breg manages member rosters, payment of admin fees, adding and deleting products from contracts, and maintenance of contract price lists.

  • Develops materials for Health System business reviews including cost avoidance and utilization reports, presentation materials, coordination people and timelines for meetings and tracks Health System points-of-contact and includes relevant Breg personnel.

  • Performs health system or facility product cross references, product formularies, identification of gaps in facility product usage, and identify system-related facilities as opportunity for Breg.

  • Interacts professionally with users from all areas and levels of the business, influences decisions and facilitate change management through collaboration and leadership.

What your background will be:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or other related field and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Financial Modeling experience is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and communication skills is required.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends is preferred.
  • Experience working directly in pricing, finance, or sales operations in the Medical Device or Life Science industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Group Purchasing Organizations, IDNs (Integrated Delivery Networks), and rebate contracts in a medical environment is preferred.
  • Oracle experience is preferred.
  • Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point capabilities. Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $90,000
