Purpose of Position | The coordinator position in the Office of Student Financial Assistance is responsible for providing informed guidance to students and parents regarding the diverse range of federal, state, and institutional aid programs. From guiding students through the intricacies of the application process to facilitating the efficient delivery of aid, the incumbent ensures a seamless and supportive experience. Collaborating with various University offices, the position actively addresses and resolves student issues while upholding a commitment to delivering exceptional service to both students and parents, fostering a positive University community experience. In addition to individualized assistance, this role involves dynamic communication, presenting financial aid information to groups of varying sizes, ranging from approximately 10 to 300 individuals. Beyond this, the Coordinator maintains a proactive stance in monitoring the ongoing needs of students and parents, demonstrating a commitment to providing continuous support and adapting to evolving financial aid requirements. This multifaceted position thus combines personalized assistance, effective communication, and proactive monitoring to enhance the overall student and parent experience within the University community. |

Qualifications | A Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in financial aid or related field is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
