JMT's Survey department offers an exciting work environment that leverages modern technology (terrestrial/mobile/aerial LiDAR, Drones, robotics, bathymetry, etc.) balanced with sound traditional survey procedures to deliver projects.

Position Summary: Help field crew leaders perform day-to-day field work. U.S. Residency Required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Learn to operate survey and SUE equipment
• Assist crew leaders in the performance of daily tasks

Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge in field surveying techniques, including data collection, traverse establishment, GNSS surveys, and construction stakeouts

Working Conditions

Field work is required 95% of the time, where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required as needed.
