The Associate Contracts Administrator performs a variety of activities in support of FSA's Contracts department. The position is ideal for an accomplished self-starter with a desire of understand government acquisition concepts and grow their knowledge of contracts administration.

Essential job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with administration of contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, and financial reporting of prime contract task orders.
  • Monitor GSA eBuy for potential new business opportunities.
  • Participate in drafting, submitting, and negotiating task order proposals.
  • Data entry of key contractual information.
  • Prepare status reports and brief management on portfolio of contracts.
  • Exercise judgement in making contractual decisions in the best interest of all key stakeholders.

Minimum Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.

Skills/Qualifications Required

  • 0-2 years of general work experience. An additional 2-4 years of work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of SharePoint a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
