We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our team and lead a critical government IT project. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project, working closely with a government agency and our internal engineering team.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the government agency to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including scope definition, schedule creation, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to track progress towards key objectives and ensure timely task completion.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication between the government agency, engineering team, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues proactively.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to all stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure adherence to government contract specifications.
  • Utilize project management software (experience with Microsoft Project a plus) to track progress, manage resources, and report on project status.
Requirements:
  • Proven project management skillset with 5 years of experience.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with computer networking technologies and government contracting processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Must possess a previous (within 2 years) or existing United States Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance.
