Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Program Analysis, Analyst to support one of our federal clients in Washington, DC.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule with 2 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the office.
  • Provide program assistance, administrative and secretarial support to Front Office Principals, Office Directors and Deputies, and general staff.
  • Schedule meetings, receive office visitors, answer and screen phone calls.
  • Route mail and maintain office files.
  • Record time and attendance.
  • Assist with ordering and receipt of office supplies.
  • Create, edit, review, and issue routine correspondence.
  • Draft, edit, and review standard operating procedures for the bureau and offices.
  • Assist the staff performing some aspects of the grants management work for the office.
  • Respond to internal and external contacts within DOS as well as other government agencies and the public.
  • Prepare travel orders, itineraries, and vouchers for the office. Independently responsible for correct application of travel regulation before submission of vouchers for payment.
  • Provide advice to office staff on the preparation of travel documents and other administrative forms.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of basic office management procedures
  • Knowledge of computer software such as Adobe, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling meetings, arranging conferences, tracking time and attendance, and able to work within demanding rotational assignments
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • High caliber written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in time and resource management

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with international affairs or international studies
  • Experience in policy planning
  • Understanding of International laws
  • Experience in foreign affairs

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $100,000-$110,000 per year.
