Job Summary
B&A is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Architect to design and implement the architecture for our project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise application architecture, particularly for financial management systems, and experience in designing and implementing complex systems. The IT Systems Architect will be responsible for leading the design and development of the architecture, ensuring that it meets business requirements and technical specifications.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of the architecture for the project, ensuring that it meets business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Define the technical vision and roadmap for the project and ensure that it is aligned with the organization's overall technology strategy.
  • Develop and maintain the technical architecture for the project, including system components, interfaces, and data models.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and developers, to identify and prioritize system requirements.
  • Design and implement data integration solutions, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams and ensure that they are up to date.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that the project is integrated with other systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in enterprise application architecture and financial management systems.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise application architecture, particularly for human capital management systems.
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of human capital management processes and practices, including onboarding, personnel management, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex systems, including data integration solutions.
  • The ability to enhance or develop transactional/operational systems using technology such as J2EE, JAVA, and Oracle Relational Database.
  • Enhancement or development and operations and maintenance of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools
  • Familiarity with enterprise application integration patterns, and experience in implementing integrations using middleware tools such as ESB, API Gateway, etc.
  • Experience with AWS cloud-based architectures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly Agile development
Security Clearance
  • Eligible to get a Public Trust clearance.
