Description:

Markon is looking for a Senior Architect to serve as a technical consultant for the Design & Engineering team of our customer. Responsibilities may include:

• Participates in project requirements definition, and reviews plans and documents developed by consultants for the utilization of land and the construction of facilities.
• Serves as an office-wide resource and leader in the architectural field of practice.
• Provides architectural and technical knowledge as part of a team of Government professionals and technicians working together on an on-site everyday basis supporting an "owner's agent" construction requirements organization.
• Ensures all facility designs are in architectural compliance with the approved Master Plan and the associated Installation Design Guidelines for the campus.
• Confirms all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations are followed, that current techniques are utilized, innovation is recognized, and quality is at a high level.
• Conducts and documents site visits. Reviews submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's during the design and construction phases.
• Responsible for the technical excellence of the tasks and analyses performed, regulatory code compliance, and for on-schedule completion within budget in accordance with contractual obligations.

• Active TS/SCI FS Poly clearance
• B.S. in Architecture related field
• 5 years or more in Architectural Facilities Design
