What You'll Do

Job Title: Geotechnical Project Manager

Job Location: Chantilly, VA

Type: Full time/Permanent

Job Duties: Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances including conduction research on local geologic history to target site specific subsurface exploration. Review fieldwork conducted by drilling and test pit crews, ensure the accurate collection of data to provide comprehensive geotechnical reports, document findings, conduct in-depth analysis, and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet the clients' needs. Oversee construction material testing including ensuring that the projects are executed in a timely and accurate manner by reviewing daily reports generated during technician on-site testing. Administer project budgets by tracking and controlling the project expenditures, and preparing change orders and invoices accurately and promptly. Build and maintain strong client relationship by often hosting project meetings with clients and attending business development events to foster connections and opportunities for future projects.

Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or any related occupation.

Offered Salary: $90,125/year
