Construction & Engineering Project Manager

The Opportunity:

As a project manager on our team, you will work directly with clients and an integrated, multi-functional team to modernize facilities, including interior or exterior building renovations, building repairs, such as roof or HVAC replacement, and modifications or repairs to utilities and infrastructure. You will focus on the full life cycle of projects from initial concept design through construction completion. You will be responsible for the proactive identification of project risks through development of and presentation of quantitative data and via reports and dashboards, including managing project budgets, developing and tracking detailed schedule, monitoring and managing scope change, assessing risk and facilitating and monitoring mitigation plans, coordinating design and construction progress reviews, and managing stakeholder communications. You will conduct regular site inspections, review construction plans and specifications, identify potential risks, implement proactive measures to mitigate them, and verify that all the work is performed to the highest quality standards. You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in construction or engineering project management, including delivering projects on time and within budget

  • Experience planning, organizing, and prioritizing project tasks

  • Experience reading and interpreting technical documents

  • Experience with Microsoft Project

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience writing and interpreting statements of work and subcontracts

  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Primavera P6

  • Experience with risk management

  • Experience reading and interpreting project blueprints and construction schematics

  • Knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management

  • Project Management or Construction Management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Construction Quality Control Management certification, or Professional Engineer License

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
