Job Description
The Senior Associate Management Consultant will support strategic planning, stakeholder outreach, product development, and project management tasks for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) with a focus on assisting election infrastructure stakeholders understand and manage risks to elections in the United States. The position will require working closely with Federal clients to understand program challenges and opportunities, support and execute tasks, coordinate and collaborate with other team members, provide input on variety of strategic, operational, and technical analysis, and produce required deliverables.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support projects through their entire lifecycle, including new projects based on client mission and needs, assist with developing project plans and timelines, managing review cycles, and producing final deliverables.
  • Maintain project planning documents such as project charters, standard operating procedures, deliverable trackers, roadmaps, and schedules.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research to understand emerging risks to election infrastructure and make data-driven recommendations to Federal clients based on analysis.
  • Contribute to technical writing activities including memos, briefings, reports, fact sheets, talking points, and whitepapers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with mid- to senior-level clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in client-facing management consulting and/or working with government agencies
  • Ability to work effectively with subject matter experts and translate technical information into products for non-technical audiences
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience designing/developing deliverables in a variety of formats
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to manage deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interact and network effectively with all levels of staff, including senior leadership
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and learn quickly
  • Ability to attain a U.S. Government public trust and/or security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in election security and critical infrastructure security strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with graphic design and/or data analytics
  • Existing security clearance or current DHS or CISA Entry on Duty (EOD) status
Federal Contracts: This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Additionally, some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Salary Range: $70K - $85K

Location: Hybrid/on site in Arlington, VA multiple days per week
