Part-Time Faculty (Non-Credit): Fire Continuing Education

Job Description
This is a POOL position. Application materials for this adjunct position accepted on an on-going basis due to increasing demand for courses in this subject area.
The Workforce and Economic Development Division (WED) of Metropolitan Community College is the leader in innovative workforce solutions and community enrichment. We partner to first develop our community in order to develop it economically for the growth of the Kansas City metro's citizens; families, businesses, industry, organizations, and associations.
As instructor you will aid with promotional opportunities in the fire service authorized by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety to deliver many continuing education noncredit courses that are often enhanced by a combination of technical training, academic coursework and officer development continuing education noncredit courses.

- Fire fighter I & II Certification
- Fire Service Instructor I Certification
- Five (5) years experience with a professional fire department.
- Teaching experience in related area of instruction or deemed a subject matter expert in area of instruction.
