Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic Logistics Team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes, primarily focusing on the management and attribution of procured equipment and services. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to manage financial and material records accurately, and adherence to established practices and procedures.

What you will do:

  • Utilize the internal system for the managed attribution of procured equipment and services, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly allocated.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for all procurements, whether through standard or non-standard business processes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Keep precise material records for all procurement activities, facilitating efficient inventory and resource management.
  • Accurately manage and account for transactions involving US Currency in excess of $10,000.00, adhering to financial policies and regulations.
  • Follow established practices and rules related to managed attribution of business associations, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of all operations.
  • Employ the internal Ridgeline Asset Management System for effective asset tracking and management.
  • Provide support in managing SIM card activation/deactivation within the Ridgeline-affiliated T-Mobile Cisco Control Center, ensuring optimal network efficiency.
  • Assist in the management of the Ridgeline-affiliated Google Workspace account, contributing to the streamlined operation of our digital workspace.
  • Implement a password manager for all necessary sites, maintaining strong and unique passwords to secure sensitive information.
  • Maintain IT hardware, ensuring all devices are operational and meet the requirements for multiple IT systems.
  • Support logistics needs related to classroom setup and breakdown, particularly for equipment under the Logistics Department's responsibility.
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs unassisted, assisting with the physical aspects of logistics management.

What will you accomplish within first 6 months on the job:

  • Asset Management Proficiency: Achieve comprehensive capability in enrolling new equipment and managing existing assets within the Ridgeline asset management system, adhering to departmental procedures. This includes tagging assets, checking assets out and in, and ensuring they are placed back in deployable stock efficiently.
  • SIM Card Management Expertise: Master the full scope of managing SIM cards in the Ridgeline T-Mobile Cisco Control Center, including inputting all necessary SIM information, activating and programming SIMs for deactivation, with an understanding of the broader financial and productivity implications of SIM mismanagement.
  • Dell Product Quotation: Within three months, be adept at creating quotes for all Dell requested products via the Ridgeline Dell Premier site. This entails generating online quotes, liaising with the Ridgeline Dell representative for corporate discounts, and forwarding discounted quotes to the requesting party.
  • Procurement Completion: Finalize the purchase of Dell requested items through the Ridgeline Dell Premier account following approval, ensuring a smooth transaction and procurement process in alignment with organizational protocols.
  • Operational Efficiency and Compliance: Exhibit operational efficiency and adherence to all departmental procedures regarding equipment and SIM card management, and Dell product procurement, contributing positively to the department's productivity and financial health.
Qualifications

What you need:

  • Active security clearance
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar field.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Familiarity with financial and material record management.
  • Ability to adhere to established practices and confidentiality agreements.
  • Experience with asset management systems and IT hardware maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
