Your role at Baxter
  • The Senior Manager ERP (JDE) within the Healthcare Systems and Technologies segment is responsible for leading and supporting multi-functional teams in numerous areas related to HST global systems and the deployment of technology in regional manufacturing sites, warehouses and commercial offices.
  • One of the primary responsibilities is delivering IT services on the JDE ecosystem including integrated satellite applications. You will partner closely with both business and IT teams to drive improved value for and efficiency for customers.

What you'll be doing
  • Partner closely with the plant managers, supply chain and country management
  • Understand global, regional, and country business objectives / strategy.
  • Understand key financial drivers and strategic goals for each business division and align our value creation to those goals.
  • Partner with IT and business leadership to gain alignment and determine options for reducing system risks and unlocking digital opportunities to support the growing business needs.
  • Provide oversight for strategic ERP implementations and projects including assisting with creation of project plans and schedules, planning and managing resources, and communicating status and risks to stakeholders.
  • Actively engage in analyzing and creating business cases and partnering with key business leaders to plan future strategic ERP deployments and implementations globally.
  • Analyze and challenge existing processes and assumptions to help define the best solutions to meet current and future business needs.
  • Assist with long range goals, annual plans, and manage project budgets appropriately.
  • Navigate challenging topics and changes with different stakeholders to gain alignment on key initiatives.
  • Understand and contribute to the business division strategy and roadmap taking into account the business plan and IT capabilities needed to meet business objectives.
  • Develop a team of IT professionals focused on providing support services to maintain stable operations while also bringing value with new capabilities and enhanced features.
  • Lead and develop individuals ensuring robust development plans and an exciting career path.
  • Build a customer focused culture of innovation and waste reduction.
  • Drive improved business delivery and processes through more efficient IT systems.
  • Champion digital transformation and innovation efforts to increase service and/or profitability.
  • Work with related technical IT teams (Cloud, Networks & Telecoms, Operations, etc.) to deliver a stable IT environment for manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensure projects are documented and prioritized with business leaders.
  • Coordinate testing of systems.
  • Partner across functions (manufacturing, quality, finance etc) to ensure the solutions provided are properly vetted.
  • Represent business divisions to deliver results.
  • Represent business requirements through the global governance processes.
  • Balance delivery of local initiatives while maintaining global standards.
  • Provide education, awareness, and visibility between global and regional teams.
  • Act as an SME and teacher to other members of the Operations teams and IT in support of continuous improvement, customer focus and innovation.

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience leading ERP teams (JDE or SAP).
  • Experience across all ERP-related business processes (Record to Report, Order to Cash, Plan to Make, Procure to Pay).
  • Multiple full lifecycle implementations on a global scale.
  • Experience with acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs.
  • Experience in ERP program and project management.
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical industry experience preferred. Experience supporting GXP / validated systems preferred.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate multi-functional teams in support of critical initiatives within the business organization and IT.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications to a wide variety of audiences and interpersonal requirements.
  • Exceptional change management and listening skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with multiple team members.
  • Solid focus on delivering customer value through continuous improvement and innovative thinking.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to formulate creative approaches in ambiguous settings.
  • A dedication to foresee problems, identify risk, and develop plausible solutions.
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and deliver on commitments.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 - $187,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
