The evian premium waters brand is seeking a high performing North East Region Sales manager (remote in NYC) with ambition and passion to build and expand our iconic brands, evian still and evian Sparkling within the Away from Home Channel (AFH). The role is responsible for the execution of the evian business in the Away From Home Channel together with our distributor partners and the trade in the assigned territory to ensure successful delivery of sales objectives. The position will focus on elevating and growing the evian brand within the AFH channel with the focus on, but not limited to: hotels, dining, bars/nightlife, cafes/QSR, and other commercial/non-commercial partners. The Regional Manager will manage and maintain existing working relationships while cultivating and building on new relationships within the assigned geography at all levels, including customers, operators, and distributor partners. This role will require approximately 30% travel within the dedicated region and ideally sits in Manhattan. Previous experience in the beverage category, knowledge of the on-premise/hospitality channel and experience working with a variety of distribution partners is ideal. This role covers the North East Territory which focus is primarily New York market, border states, Pennsylvania, Maryland/DC and Maine.

As part of the evian Away from Home sales team, this role will gain valuable experience and serve as a fundamental component in achieving and supporting the key Strategy for the evian brands. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and execute annual business plans for assigned geography that supports the overall business and customer strategies, while achieving profitable sales objectives.
  • Maintain existing and develop strong business relationships with all key external stakeholders for the North East AFH Territory to ensure long-term success and to identify and address specific needs
  • Distributor Engagement and Animation; set targets & goals, track compliance, program execution, Sales Teams brand education & training, provide brand presentations and tools to support programs and proper implementation of brand strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate on behalf of region business/customer needs, close gaps and achieve plan.
  • Understanding customer's business needs to build short and long-term strategies that support their goals
  • Execute national account plans/programs in assigned region
  • Identifies new key account opportunities and/or programming initiatives to grow distribution and depletion activity.
  • Delivers fact based selling presentations to customers.
  • Ensures the execution of in market programs in targeted key accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with key account buyers.
  • Track compliance and execution of existing contracts
  • Expand Points of Activation (POAs) in existing partnerships to drive sales
  • Ability to compile and analyze sales data reports from various distribution routes to market and reporting tools on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Collection and management of customer trade spend
  • Travel to events, conferences and customer meetings and manage the setup of products, tools and POS as needed
  • Management of territory financial budget/plans/spend
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor intel

About You:

  • Minimum of 5 years sales, account management or category experience, within the CPG industry, Beverage experience is a plus
  • Min 2 years experience in the on premise channel can be sales, distributor or operator.
  • Strong customer and distributor management experience with passion to build strong external partner relationships.
  • Able to manage a territory with travel estimated at 30%
  • Strong time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and plan
  • Strong execution, communication, story telling and selling skills
  • Ability to work effectively within cross functional teams
  • Results orientated - delivers on KPIs and demonstrated success in previous roles
  • Based in Manhattan

The base compensation range for this position is $100,000-140,000 commensurate with experience.
