Full Stack Developer

This role is more than just coding. As a full-stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with leveraging open-source solutions with scalable microservices and single-page application architecture
  • 2+ years of experience with inter-process communications, service mesh, API gateway, and composite UI
  • 2+ years of experience with re-engineering, modernizing, and migrating legacy software to a cloud-based solution
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines compatible with platform-agnostic cloud hosting
  • 2+ years of experience with non-Oracle databases and migration to non-Oracle RDMS
  • 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience working with or leading Development, Engineering, Architecture, or Testing teams to define toolsets and processes for the continuous delivery pipeline
  • Experience with setting up code repositories, branching, and merging using GitLab or Jenkins
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degreeor 5+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with issue tracking tools, including Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow
  • Experience with Agile methodology, software engineering, product management, and software products
  • Experience working with security to ensure tools are compliant with FISMA security requirements, static code scanning, security scanning
  • Experience working with federal agencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
