As an A&A Senior within the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Cybersecurity Office, you will take a lead role in managing the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) lifecycle for ARL enterprise systems. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating A&A plans, reviewing policy requirements, and ensuring compliance with DoD and Army Cybersecurity standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • A&A Leadership: Lead all A&A efforts for ARL, providing strategic direction and oversight for the complete A&A lifecycle.
  • eMASS and Artifact Management: Manage eMASS records and A&A artifacts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Cybersecurity standards.
  • Reporting: Perform A&A-related reporting, generating insights and assessments to support decision-making processes.
  • Coordination: Coordinate A&A efforts with responsible parties, including IT teams and System Administrators, to ensure effective implementation of the A&A program.
  • Compliance Oversight: Provide oversight to ensure compliance with DoD and Army Cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Policy Review: Regularly review and update Cybersecurity policy documentation and artifacts in alignment with A&A requirements.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of A&A processes and Cybersecurity standards.
  • Proven experience in leading A&A efforts for complex enterprise systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate and up-to-date eMASS records and A&A artifacts.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Cybersecurity, with a focus on A&A processes.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in leading A&A efforts for large-scale enterprise systems.
