Description:

Markon is seeking two mid-level Agile Coaches with experience working with software engineering, cloud computing, systems engineering, computer science, or a similar field.

Responsibilities:

The Agile team acts as strategic advisors to Senior Customers as well as development teams and must have experience communicating the Agile mindset and implementation of SAFe Agile practices.

Assist lead Agile Coach with alignment of programs to solutions. Develop and implement Agile methodologies and best practices for software development projects. Provide guidance and coaching to teams on Agile principles and practices. Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos. Identify and address any roadblocks or impediments to team productivity.

Candidate must be well spoken with the ability to provide recommendations to teams as well as executive level clients and collaborate as part of a team. Candidate will act as a subject matter expert on Agile practices and processes and provide support to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-4 years relevant experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience and SPC certification will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • SPC, CSM, CSPO, or related Agile Coaching Certification
  • Managing Agile practices, performing as a scrum master, developing roadmaps for agile software acquisition, and or writing and competing Agile contracts.
  • Must value and be able to communicate the following values:
    • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
    • Working software over comprehensive documentation
    • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
    • Responding to change over following a plan
