Overview

The CORT Furniture Outlet team is looking for a full-time, self-motivated and customer focused sales associate.

CORT Furniture Outlet sells our new and previously leased furnishings at an unbeatable value, offering our customers the opportunity to pay a lot less for the styles and quality they want.

This job is a great fit for high energy sales professionals. In this role you will engage customers to evaluate their needs to advise them on the benefits of purchasing previously rented furniture and maximize revenue opportunities.

This position will work directly in our Outlet Center daily.

Pay: Pay is $16- $17 per hour plus 5% commission of delivered sales

Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday flexible schedule

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed weekly/monthly sales revenue, piece and margin goals
  • Assist in the safe maintenance, appearance, merchandising and pricing of store to company and District standards of the furniture
  • Utilize computer to complete proposals, prepare sale agreements and obtain necessary information from customer to complete sales
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships in order to generate future sales opportunities
  • Help us drive traffic to the Outlet through social media and networking

Qualifications

  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • A High school diploma/equivalent or 1 year of retail experience without a diploma
  • The ability to work 40 hours/week with varied hours/days to provide support for showroom, sales events, meetings, networking functions, etc.
  • Excellent communication, reasoning skills, and computer proficiency skills
  • Able to lift and move furniture.
  • You're social media savvy, or have experience with marketing
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
