Manpower and Training FMS Program Manager

As a training leader on our team, you'll showcase your technical expertise and industry knowledge and collaborate to devise creative solutions for mission-critical problems supporting a US Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program that includes training international military students.

On our team, you'll help develop and manage cost, schedule, and performance and have regular interactions with US Navy and industry stakeholders to coordinate the acquisition, development, and implementation of training plans in support of US Navy client, including planning, communication, outreach and foreign customer liaison support services. You will identify and create strategies supporting the successful delivery and introduction to service for a new class of US-built small combatant to design, develop and implement surface ship training programs for international military students. You will help determine and refine requirements of ship designated classification society and the standards of training and certification for watchkeepers. You will also develop recommendations for whole ship curriculum and training schedule integration to minimize lost time and maximize student classroom output throughout the training program.

You Have:

  • 10 years of experience with training and technical requirements for the US Navy or US Coast Guard surface ships
  • 3 years experience with foreign military international student training
  • Experience with staffing and coordinating multiple elements of a large, complex training program management to deliver the required training outcomes within cost and schedule estimates
  • Ability to function as a team leader in a demanding environment, to work both independently and with a team to resolve problems
  • Ability to work with all Microsoft Office suite programs
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in shipboard evolutions and training and education, engineering, damage control, and readiness assignments, including in Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) or frigate class ships
  • Experience developing training curriculum or instruction in a military or college environment
  • Knowledge of developing training according to US Navy instructions to include Integrated Learning Environment Course Development and Life Cycle Maintenance methods
  • Knowledge of security cooperation and experience working with foreign clients and export control and ITAR issues
  • Master's degree in Education, International Affairs, Naval Science, or a related field
  • US Navy Master Training Specialist, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile Scrum Master Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
