Overview

CORT is seeking a motivated and experienced Finance Product Manager to lead our efforts in revolutionizing our financial systems. This role will play a crucial part in optimizing our invoicing, billing, payments, forecasting, budgeting, and general ledger processes by working closely with our financial leaders, including the CFO.

You will use your analysis, design, and implementation skills to transform CORT's internal business processes and improve the customer experience. The Finance Product Manager is responsible for developing the detailed strategy, scope and implementation plans for small to large projects that directly impact CORT's financial processes. Leading multi-functional teams of 2-15 people from across the business, you will be required to utilize core project management, communication, presentation and creative problem-solving skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.

This is a hybrid position, meaning that some work can be performed from home, and other times work will need to be performed from CORT's corporate office in Chantilly, VA as demanded by the business needs. Candidates should be located near or willing to regularly travel to the Chantilly, VA area.

Responsibilities

  • Current State Analysis: Conducting a comprehensive assessment of our existing financial systems, including custom and off-the-shelf solutions such as Oracle PeopleSoft, Sage, and Adaptive Planning.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborating closely with financial leaders, including the CFO, to understand their specific needs and objectives, and translating these into detailed business requirements. This would result in gap analysis against current state functional flows.
  • Roadmap Development: Creating a strategic 3-year roadmap for the transformation of our financial systems, aligning technology solutions with business goals and objectives.
  • System Integration: Overseeing the integration of various financial systems to ensure seamless data flow and information sharing across the organization.
  • Change Management: Developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new financial processes and systems across the organization. This includes performing system demos for standard and customized solutions.
  • Risk Assessment: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with the transformation of financial systems, including data security and compliance considerations.
  • Vendor Management: Managing relationships with external vendors and consultants involved in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems. This includes relationships with our credit card (Amex, Discover, etc), hardware (Clover, Fiserv, etc) and software (Fiserv, Kubra, PSFT, etc) providers.
  • Performance Monitoring: establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of the new financial systems and making continuous improvements as needed.

Qualifications

Required Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. CPA, PMP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in financial systems analysis, implementation, and transformation, with a focus on ERP systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft, Sage, or similar.
  • Experience with in-store, commerce and card not present payment collection. Fiserv knowledge is a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including invoicing, billing, payments, forecasting, budgeting, and general ledger.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • General project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Preferred Education / Experience

  • Familiarity in Agile development methods
  • Salesforce Configure Price Quote and Revenue Experience
