Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Clinician (ACNP or PA-C) to join our dynamic team at Suburban Hospital, specializing in Cardiac Vascular Surgery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in collaboration with leading cardiac surgeons and medical professionals in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cardiac vascular surgeries, including preoperative evaluations, intraoperative support, and postoperative management.
- Perform thorough physical assessments, diagnostic tests, and interpretation of results.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding surgical procedures, medications, and follow-up care.
- Assist in the coordination of care across various healthcare settings to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification as an ACNP or PA-C.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in cardiac vascular surgery or a related field preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
