Description of Task to be Performed:
* Provide purchasing process execution preparing requests for quote (RFQs) for Information Technology (IT) equipment, hardware, software, and services
* Within the RFQ process, select vendors based on cost, quality, and ability to meet customer requirements appropriately and working through the customer approval process (gathering signatures, approvals, quote packages, or sole source justifications as appropriate)
* Adhere to Army, Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) purchasing guidelines
* Adhere to AnaVation purchase order/requisition standard operating procedures
* Coordinate with RTI users on hardware/software compliance, builds and quotes
* Support efforts for negotiating payment terms and facilitating regular interaction with vendors
* Work within Government and non-Government marketplaces and vendors to research and identify goods and services which will meet customer specifications
* Create Business Cards for customers upon request.
* Document purchasing processes and updates to this process as necessary
* Employ waivers for items that cannot be purchased in authorized marketplaces
* Use SharePoint to submit and track RTI computer hardware and software requests for approval
* Coordinate communications with logistics companies on shipments
* Support receiving efforts by interfacing with the RTI warehouse for appropriate delivery of purchased items, along with any formal receipt documentation and processes
* Support processes to transfer ownership of procured items, software, and services to the Government
* Provide thorough inventory of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) acquired through the purchasing process
* Manage property inventorying efforts, including working with users on recovering lost or misplaced property
- Manage online Library, assist users with accessing articles not in the library
* Miscellaneous office related tasking to support customer requirements
* Coordinate with cellphone and TV providers to manage services for customers; Provide monthly cellphone reports
* Conduct bi-weekly equipment inventories and prepare weekly procurement budget reports
* Self-Starter; Strong analytical skills; Problem Solver
Required Qualifications:
  • Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business, Finance or Accounting disciplines
  • 2-5 years of business, finance, or accounting experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Proficient working in purchase order/requisition and invoicing software systems
  • Exposure to and work within Army, DoD and Federal buying regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation and experience working with multiple vendors and subcontractor teams
Preferred Qualificatons:
  • Experience with purchase order/requisition accounting and invoicing software systems such as Unanet, Deltek, Workday, etc.
  • Proficient working in Government and non-Government marketplaces for IT equipment like Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (DoD ESI), CDWG, NewEgg Business, etc.
  • Exposure to and work within Army, DoD and Federal buying regulations (such as FAR regulation 889 or AR 25-1), including waivers (such as Sole Source Justifications) and the development of final purchasing package requirements
  • Experience working with DD250 forms for transferring ownership of goods and services
  • Experience coordinating office events
