Job Title: Program Director

Location: Washington, DC

Employment Class: Full-Time

Position Summary:

Advancia Government Services is seeking a Program Director whose primary responsibility will be managing and implementing all aspects of the contract's requirements and coordinating the activities and schedules of project managers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • As Program Director you will set project deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor overall costs, schedule, and performance of the services delivered under the contract.
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors and other departments involved in the project.
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
  • As Program Director you will prepare and provide regular performance and production reports for OFLC Headquarters management team including the assigned OFLC Contracting Officer's Representative.
  • Identify issues or risks to meeting contract requirements, propose innovative solutions and/or recommendations designed to continually improve program effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Maintaining contractual adherence when related to events of performance issues that negatively impact case process and/or production, in which case, the Program Director shall submit an impact report to the Contracting Officer and the COR.
  • Ensure contract requirements are met, perform critical liaison activities with the government's management team
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of its staff in centralized and NPC locations.
  • Be the single Point of Contact with the HQ and NPC Management teams and Agency staff.

Education and KSA Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • 5 years experience in related field
  • PMP Certification and/or Six Sigma Certification is highly desirable, but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience managing a team of 10 or more employees in the field of Case Processing/Operational Support
  • Experience in some or all of the following areas highly preferred:
    • Project Management
    • Project Planning
    • Government processes
    • Operational Planning
    • Communication
    • Operations Management
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Emotionally intelligent
  • Ability to work on and/or with a team

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Mainly sedentary, some standing and lifting up to 25 pounds, mainly indoors

Additional Requirements:

  • Selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport
  • Selected candidate subject to background check
