Jefferson Consulting Group is seeking an Acquisition Manager/ Analyst to support the US Department of Agriculture.

This role will be fully remote.

Responsibilities:

The Acquisition Analysts shall provide subject matter expertise and operational support in all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle process and shall advise and assist USDA with execution of a variety of procurement/contract actions including, but not limited to, solicitation package development, proposal evaluation, analysis of cost and price, award recommendations, post award administration, and contract close-out in accordance applicable rules, policies, laws, and regulations. Additionally, the team shall provide recommendations on acquisition strategy and documentation of that strategy, as well as recommendations on contractual issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • A minimum of 5- 10 years experience of federal contract administration (pre-award) experience

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing and analytical skills to effectively interact with program and contracting officials.

  • Attention to detail, high standards of excellence and commitment to perform and execute all project activities successfully.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or FAC P/PM certification

  • CSAW (Civilian Service Acquisition Workshop) training
