Material Handler

This position services a client in Silver Spring, MD

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Material Handler. You will join a team as dedicated to your career as you are. This highly motivated, detailed oriented, customer service-focused individual will be responsible for working on-site at the client by helping them manage their hazardous waste programs.

This position reports to the Program Manager and this role is onsite at client site 5 days per week in Silver Spring, MD. The hours are 7:30AM-4PM - Monday through Friday.

The working hours & location for this position may vary and are subject to change based on business needs. Candidates should be adaptable and open to adjustments in their work schedule.

Essential responsibilities:

• Travel to customer facilities to collect waste containers containing hazardous materials.
• Safe pick-up of all regulated medical waste and materials from client sites, also including lab plastics and pathological waste.
• Use of Triumvirate's computerized waste tracking system.
• Preparation of all necessary documentation for the pick-up and drop-off of waste.
• Understand OSHA regulations and Triumvirate's Health and Safety Practices.
• Interact with coworkers in a team environment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 6-12+ months of Material Handler experience or similar type of work
• Ability to work as a team player
• Eagerness to learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices
• Successful completion of OSHA/DOT physical examination
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position
