Overview:

As an Excella IT Engineer you will serve as a technical lead within Excella's Corporate IT and Security Team. You will be leading and supporting the design, deployment, expansion, and upkeep of Excella's SaaS and IaaS infrastructure, Security and Compliance Programs, and serve as a point of escalation for Excella's Service Desk personnel.

We are looking for a quick learner, with a well-rounded passion for technology, and effective research and problem-solving skills. Someone who is detail oriented, organized, and excited to learn and work both as part of a team and independently.

This is a 40 hour/week, exempt role.


Responsibilities:

  • Administer Excella's IaaS and network infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS
  • Interface with vendors to resolve technical issues and for maintenance and development needs
  • Lead enterprise SaaS implementations and vendor evaluations
  • Maintain Excella's security and compliance programs and oversee IT activities supporting its corporate certifications (ISO20000, 27001)
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of security controls (Experience with NIST800, CMMC, and SOC II a plus)
  • Lead research and development activities supporting the expansion and interoperability of Excella's IT infrastructure
  • Serve as a final point of escalation for Excella's service desk, solving complex escalations requiring research and testing
  • Oversee internal audit, capacity, and cost management activities


Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience managing and supporting an enterprise information technology team(s)
  • BA/BS Degree Preferred or 3 additional years of IT experience
  • Bonus points for experience with any or all of the following:
    • IT and Security Training Design and Delivery
    • SAML2.0 and SCIM
    • SPF, DMARC, DKIM
    • Microsoft PowerApps/PowerPlatform (fka Microsoft Flow)Administration
    • Microsoft Sharepoint Development and Administration
