Under the
direction of the Principal Food Service Manager, Senior Food Service Manager
supervises and coordinates daily operations of Patient Room
Service.
Duties
include:
Responsible for supervising,
training, and job performance evaluations of food service supervisors, and
food service workers.
Monitoring tray operations
process to ensure timely meal service for patients.
Supervising and coordinating
cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
Coordinating daily activities
of call center, running reports, checking ambassadors' communication logs,
tray pick-up reports, and monitoring menu presentation process and
assistance provided to patients.
Performing ambassador and
patient floor rounds
Making recommendations on
service improvements
Salary: $26.48- $53.40
Hourly
Qualifications
Certified Dietary Manager
Certification (CDM) and/or Dietetic Service Supervisor Certificate. If not
certified then currently enrolled in the program with 2 year established
completion date.
Active ServeSafe certificate.
Ability to practice safe food
handling techniques.
Computer skills to operate food
management systems in place, and to generate memos and reports.
Interpersonal skills to
interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers.
Provide effective timely
training, coaching and evaluation of staff.
Have a proactive approach toward
continuous organizational improvement.
Ability to stand, bend, walk,
reach, lift, push and pull for prolonged periods of time in hot or cold
areas.
Ability to adjust to
fluctuating workloads and adhere to production schedules.
