Valiant is seeking an individual to provide technical graphic design support for a USG customer in the Northern Virginia area that requires a unique understanding of the technical aspects of design combined with the ability to re-create items. This support also includes the design and production of graphics-related projects/products.

The tasks below are representative of the support required:

  • Perform general graphic shop maintenance and organization.
  • Utilize Sponsor's software package and reproduce or modify artwork for a variety of quick-reaction requirements.
  • Operate graphics shop tools, cameras, and lighting equipment, cutting tools (manual and automated), laminators, lasers, scanners, printers: inkjet, UV-cure, solvent, pad, card, label, and thermal.
  • Properly receive and dispose of HAZMAT and HAZWASTE according to EPA regulations and Sponsor's requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a graphics inventory stock management system.
  • Attain and maintain Sponsor-specified certification (certification training provided by Sponsor which trainees must pass with a minimum score) with the safe handling, application, processing, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Operate, maintain, and use graphic shop equipment/tools/products such as:
  • Adhesives and inks
  • Cutting Tools (manual and automated)
  • Laminators
  • Lasers
  • Photography and Lighting
  • Printers (inkjet, UV-cure, solvent, pad, card, label, and thermal)
  • Solvents
  • Ensure graphic production complies with all applicable Federal and State occupational safety health and environmental statutes and regulations. Compliance includes industry and consensus standards incorporated by reference.
  • Utilize hand-skills to install various graphics related items on a variety of substrates/materials to include, but not limited to: plastics, metals, woods, glass, vinyl, and fabrics.
  • Analyze ad-hoc requirements associated with Sponsor/Mission Partners equipment/supplies/products in order to report and maintain operational readiness status.
  • Document products/services using photography equipment.


  • A TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
  • CONUS and OCONUS TDY travel may be required.
