We are seeking a Sr. Director of Sales for our Go-To-Market Group to drive our Aerospace and Defense strategy. As the lead strategist, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Be the Technical Executive Sponsor for driving Synopsys in the DoD and DIB
  • Grow the Synopsys footprint across A&D enterprise.
  • Represent Synopsys at the executive level within OSD, the branch arm services, and the primes.
  • Set and execute our:
    • Strategic direction within A&D
    • Technical roadmaps and campaign focus and priorities.
    • Capture strategy on critical programs
  • Set/execute teaming and partnerships across the Defense Industrial Base
  • Prioritize product development, solutions, and go-to-market campaigns for our A&D business globally.
  • Champion and lead Synopsys' push into classified programs from a strategic business standpoint
  • Connect the dots between the critical DoD/IC microelectronics programs and their performers. Work with Synopsys technical experts to shape the programs at the PEO level and to enable the performers to best execute these programs.
  • Develop relationships and partnerships in the DoD contractor community to be the preferred partner on new program pursuits.
  • Work with the sales team to develop A&D market analysis and competitive assessment to understand the market size and design starting by technology type.
  • Success will be measured in year-over-year business growth. Target growth is 20% yearly.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or a related field with 20+ years of industry experience
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful GTM strategies for complex solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage strategic partnerships in the technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor technologies, or related fields.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results.

    The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $210,000-$316,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
