Job Description
Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce and the community, in the heart of the nation’s capital. Designated as the World Trade Center Washington, DC and the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, RRB/ITC features a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming.  

Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the RRB/ITC, is seeking a talented Human Resources Coordinator to join our Human Resources team.

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the Human Resources Department. This would include the following; maintaining the paperwork process and personnel files, supporting the recruitment function with applicant tracking and processing, responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits and related Human Resources issues and assisting with all Human Resources projects and activities.

Essential Functions
  • Greet employees and other guests as initial point of contact
  • Oversee coordination of GSA background investigation initiatives and procedures (HSPD-12 and CIW)
  • Perform customer service functions by responding to employee requests and questions regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department to include ordering of all office supplies
  • Oversee employee file management to include scanning of terminated files for HR archives
  • Oversee I-9 Form processing to include verification of I-9 documentation and maintenance of I-9 files
  • Coordinate all paperwork for new-hires to include to include assembling of new-hire packets, files and with the follow-up of outstanding paperwork
  • Input information (Recruitment, Employment, and Training) into monthly activity reports
  • Assist the recruitment function with virtual and/or on-site interview scheduling and background checks on potential new hires
  • Assist Director of DEI, Training and Employee Development with creation of training presentation materials as needed
  • Other Human Resources duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience utilizing ADP software a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • 2 + years’ experience in a Human Resources office
