This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. Employee will work full time remote outside of a WesBanco location (may occasionally attend in person meetings, although primary functions of the role are performed remotely).

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.

Customer Service and administrative experience required with bank operations experience preferred.


Job Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for completing daily tasks within the Exceptions Processing - Overdrafts team. These tasks include reviewing and coding overdraft and NSF items, reviewing daily returned deposit items, answering customer phone calls, responding to branch e-mails, and updating various reporting agencies for collections. Reconcilement of overdraft and collection related accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor and process daily payment decisions in the IBS Exceptions Processing module. Ensure proper coding under the direction of various Bank departments, including Banking Centers.

Review and process daily returned deposit items in the FIS ImageCentre system.

Review and respond to emails from Banking Centers in regards to the OverdraftHonor program.

Process, update, and submit daily charge-off and recovery payments.

Answer incoming customer calls regarding questions pertaining to the OverdraftHonor program.

Process letter files for daily print submission.

Review and submit return files to FIS.

Deliver customer service within bank defined expectations.

Other duties may be assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Understanding of check processing and the flow of returns and overdrafts.

Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of FIS IBS Insight and Exceptions Processing applications preferred.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to define and solve problems.
